My Best Peanut Butter Cookies!

Okay, I promise this post is gonna be another one of those where I mess something up! However, this post does include some victories.

One day, as I was searching Pinterest, I thought, “How could I make easier cookies?”. At least that’s what I think happened. Anyways, I found a easy cookie recipe! Only THREE ingredients! How awesome is that?

I found the recipe on Momcrieff. The post was super cool to read so when you get a chance clink the link above. There really isn’t much to say other than the three ingredients. Β 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, and one egg. Mix of them together and there you go! On another Pinterest searching day previous to the one where I found the peanut butter recipe, I saw a baking hack.

OOOOOH! Don’t we all love hacks? Well, this one is good… I saw a cooking hack that involved cookies and a muffin tray. All I had to do was place the cookie dough in the muffin tray and cook it.

The hack is that the cookies would be softer and bigger…? I know for sure that it was suppose to be softer. I placed the cookies in the oven and waited. Sorta. I continue to check on the cookies. LIKE ALWAYS when I cook, I’m never sure on how cooked something is. I know, I know. Stick a knife in the middle of it to check… However, when I did do that I was like cooked but soft? I didn’t want the cookies to be too soft so that when I eat them they started to fall apart of me! No, I gotta have nice chewy cookies.

So, I finally pulled the cookies out of the oven. I didn’t entirely wait for the cookies to cool so when I was trying to get the cookies out of the muffin tray they were falling apart. Not only that but the cookies were in the shape of a bowl. GOODNESS CAN NOTHING GO RIGHT?! I was kicking myself. How could I do this? To peanut butter cookies no less!

In the middle of all the chaos in trying to get the cookies out of the tray, I tried one. Good heaven. I turned to my mom, who was just laughing at me because I was having issues again, and asked her to try one. She couldn’t have enough. My goodness you guys if I could have made hundreds of those and just eat those for the rest of my life I would be so happy.

The cookies were far from pretty but they were so delicious. The peanut butter cookies were soft, flavorful, and light… Okay, that’s not entirely true. I can’t exactly remember what they tasted like but they were soft and they were the best peanut butter cookies that I will ever make.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to make the exact same cookies. The real downside to the cookies was that even though they were kinda thick I was only able to make like 6 cookies. As soon as I ran out of them I would make more. I don’t know how many batches all together but it was a decent amount.

I recommend for anyone who loves peanut butter cookies or just cookies to just attempt to make these because they are totally worth it!

Thanks for reading,

Mason
